Indiana University South Bend (IUSB) has partnered with the South Bend Cubs Foundation to provide FREE TUTORING for 6th through 12th graders at the 1st Source Bank Performance Center.
Together, we are committed to supporting youth skill development, academic achievement, and career and college readiness.
Beginning on Tuesday, September 18, every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, drop-in tutoring will be provided for Math, English, Science, Social Studies, and SAT/ACT Prep – no appointment necessary!
The program is also made possible by funding from SERVE Indiana via the Indiana Kids Grant, a statewide network for tutoring, mentoring, and college and career workshops.
Program Overview and Steps for Participation:
- Students and parent/adult caregivers enroll virtually through the Indiana Kids link (http://go.iu.edu/1SV7) or through a paper application on site at a tutoring session. Information is imported into a secure IU SharePoint database.
- Trained IUSB college students provide tutoring at Four Winds Field.
- Students can also access IU Zoom for free online tutoring in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. All Indiana Kids enrolled students receive an email message with a direct link and an instructional video for accessing online tutoring.
